Choral Experience

The College of Wooster Wooster Singers

In the spring of 2024, I chose, rehearsed, and conducted a piece with The College of Wooster's non-auditioned treble choir, Wooster Singers. I used my experience performing with this group the previous semester to guide my choice of repertoire. Once a week, I led a rehearsal on my piece and met with the director at the end of rehearsal to receive feedback and plan for the next rehearsal. At the end of the semester, I conducted the group in concert.

Orrville High School

Concert & Symphonic Choirs

In the spring of 2024, I held a small field placement at Orrville High School with their two high school choirs: concert choir (non-auditioned) and symphonic choir (auditioned). I begun the semester observing the director and the students while familiarizing myself with the atmosphere and social environment of both classes. I gradually acquired more responsibilities until the end of the semester, when I taught for the entire class period.
